Yellowhammer News How can you have a Workforce package of bills that is focused on improving Labor Force Participation Rate and not address an aging workforce with the lowest LFPR (about 39%) for those ages 55 & up? Does not make good walking around sense. fred.stlouisfed.org/series/LNS1132…

AlabamaFreePress.com Yellowhammer News Us oldsters are an invisible lot.
The 55 to 64 LFPR cohort is at record levels and the 65+ crowd remains quite high.

The only policies that can address the LFPR have to bring in more immigrants.

1819 News Craig Monger Yellowhammer News Business Council of Alabama Ron DeSantis And the Child Tax Credits are going to mostly help large businesses -not individuals or small business- and is a Picking Winners & Losers bill. The credits are also open to abuse by getting CRs for those already working. If that happened, it would NOT improve LFPR.

i_say Bharat 🇮🇳 🚩 But it will affect their LFPR. Companies are already unwilling to hire women because of maternity leave, this additional leave will have negative impact

Me parece increíble q la gente prefiera resignarse y ser sumisa a los abusos de las entidades cuando no valoran el tiempo de los usuarios. Entonces si uno se queja, es el aburrido o el creído. 🤬

Alabama Reflector Alander Rocha You failed to break down the Labor Force Participation Rate into groups that matter IN RELATION to what the bill is supposed to do. It mostly targets younger workers (LFPR 82% for 25-54) & ignores an aging population (LFPR 39%, 55 & up).

Leading Alabama Steve Flowers Steve Flowers shared the good things about the packages, but failed to mention anything bad. How is that helpful to his readers? The LFPR part showed major lack of seriousness by state. No mention of the 'innovation districts', which as written are a VERY BAD idea. MORE ...

“The unemployment rate is so LoOoOoW🤡 Great economy derp”

Yeah, so is the labor force participation rate! And the LFPR is only going lower for the rest of the decade. Not healthy at all!
