This area used to be full of mangroves.

Now San Miguel Corporation is building an airport on top of mangroves, mudflats and productive fishing grounds.

Don't be fooled. SMC destroyed our environment!

The narrow boardwalk at Xiatanwei Mangrove Park stretches into the sea, showing a vibe of tropical islands. As you walk along, you’ll see lush mangroves and vast mudflats around. Sometimes, you might even spot egrets hunting for food in the sand.

I think the worst ass kicking I've had is still that kelp crab on the mudflats but it wasn't very small. Instantly got out of my reach and climbed me like a capuchin. Straight for my neck. It happened in an instant and I was covered in scratches. Similar to the one pictured.
