Using the paramaxillary approach to aspirate a large deep parotid cyst. A satisfying procedure as patients will usually feel immediate relief and decreased facial fullness

New publication in IJRI on normal range of MRI CSF flow study parameters.
CSF flow study was done on 100 subjects (not all of them asymptomatic, some had indications for MRI other than NPH like headache).
The study was done on a GE Discovery 3T.

Question for any neurorads/head and neck people:

What do you make of the small cystic thing posterior to the stalk? A bit too posterior for a Rathke cleft cyst? Some sort of cystic dilation of the posterior intercavernous sinus?

Images are T1 pre, T2 sag/cor and T1 post

Sometimes the weirdest tidbits pique my interest in neurorads. For example, seeing this patient’s ears and knowing he’s likely experienced a few fistfights. Also realizing he was likely fighting a right handed individual (left ear shows more chronic damage)- “cauliflower ear”
