The United States is committed to strengthening global nonproliferation by deterring and disrupting weapons of mass destruction networks wherever they occur. Today, the Department of State is sanctioning four entities that are proliferating dangerous missile technology.

Ukraine agreed to transfer these weapons to Russia and became a party to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons, in exchange for assurances from Russia, the United States and UK to respect the Ukrainian independence and sovereignty in the existing borders.

We urge the Kenyan government to endorse and join the #FossilFuels Non-Proliferation Treaty, signalling a commitment to ending fossil fuel dependency and transitioning to renewable energy sources in line with the Paris Agreement #ClimateJusticeNow #FixTheFinance
