Plan It Coach It’s actually the best thing to practice decision making.

When you’re playing small side, 1 or 2 touch, it teaches you to read the game & see your next pass BEFORE getting the ball.

Lesson: analyze your positioning + be aware of your surroundings. It’s high level training.

Plan It Coach The idea is not to limit touches. The idea is to make the player reflect, when where to use fewer touches, and when to keep the ball at your feet with a few extra touches.

It is all about manipulating space in relation to the opponent with your technique.

Coaching kids?

REMEMBER you're an influence on their lives.

How will they remember you in 10 years time, will it be positive or negative?

Plan It Coach To the coaches reading this. Be wary of “always or never.” Understand why or why you’re not limiting touches and what the consequences of the decision is. There’s a time to limit touches. There’s a time not to.

Plan It Coach Disagree. When you limit touches you force the players to think one step ahead all the time. Plan out their next move. Often times you can limit some of the players touches so that they need to move to help the players with fewer touches.

Plan It Coach What? Hard disagree. This is bogus information. Limited touches are one of the most organic ways to increase decision making in multiple training formats, both on the ball, and off....
