30th December 1943...a day etched in the memory of every Indian, when the brave Netaji Subhas Bose unfurled the Tricolour at Port Blair. To mark the 75th anniversary of this special day, I had gone to Port Blair and had the honour of hoisting the Tricolour. Sharing some memories.

75 years ago, on this day, in the city of Port Blair, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose addressed a large gathering.

Today in Port Blair, I had the honour of unfurling the Tricolour to mark the 75th anniversary of Subhas Babu's brave feat. We also reiterate our commitment to creating an India Subhas Babu dreamt of.

These pictures show the high level of enthusiasm at the public meeting in Port Blair.

The new integrated terminal building at Veer Savarkar International Airport, Port Blair, will ensure easier travel to Andaman and Nicobar islands. This will be a big boost for tourism in particular. The building will be inaugurated tomorrow, 18th July, at 10:30 AM.

Aditya-L1 Mission:
The second Earth-bound maneuvre (EBN#2) is performed successfully from ISTRAC, Bengaluru.

ISTRAC/ISRO's ground stations at Mauritius, Bengaluru and Port Blair tracked the satellite during this operation.

The new orbit attained is 282 km x 40225 km.
