It was’nt a bad run-up last night. I decided to avoid the M5 and M42 with all the roadworks and instead take the M40 to get onto the M1 via the A roads. It certainly paid off and I’m only 14 miles from my delivery 🥳

Why are roadworks and cycle lanes in this country insanely inefficient and incompetent?

Nearly *2 YEARS* of extra danger, disruption and congestion, for less than a mile of cycle lanes (not even up to LTN 1/20 standards), should be an absolute embarrassment. But it's 'normal'.
