Great stop by Whitby Fire & Emergency Services tonight as they contained a fire to one unit at 120 Waller St. One person was transported to hospital, but injuries are not known.

Today, our brother Robert Vesey's name was added to the IAFF Fallen Firefighter Memorial Wall in Colorado Springs.

All operations at the grass fire near Consumers Drive and Industrial Drive have finished. The grass fire has been extinguished and B1 Platoon fire crews have cleared the scene. Thank you for avoiding the area.

With the fluctuating temperatures we've been having, outdoor ponds are unsafe.

DYK? Stormwater ponds never fully freeze. The constant flow of water underneath keeps the ice thinner than it looks.

Last night Whitby Fire & Emergency Services joined DRPS Traffic Services at one of the Festive RIDE Programs to get the message out to never drive impaired also spreading the word on fire safety. Sadly one driver was arrested, blowing over twice the limit w/ a child in the car. Never Drive Impaired.
