Decided to change location for our Sunday morning dog walk and went to Inch Island Wildfowl Reserve. Hadn't been here in a while. Did the 8km loop track. Great walk and no hills for a change.

7 years ago the ESB committed to a management plan for this unique site. There is none to date. Why not? Local residents say until recently hunters had ready access to shoot wildfowl in the area including the greylag goose which is under threat.Cork County Council

Llyn Maelog this a.m. and Sedge and Reed Wblrs both NFY4me and Cetti's always good to hear. Interesting walk round but a bit short on wildfowl today, just Gadwall, Mallard, TuftD and Pochard.
