Managed to get some brassicas planted out.

Hopefully they won’t be got by the slugs before they can get established

A lovely spring day, potato's and onions coming along. Bean poles in, some brassicas planted. Birds singing.
Most importantly a rare sighting of fluffy clouds.

We are having some beautiful days this Spring…Fruit trees are loaded with flowers, peas, lettuce and brassicas are growing. Poppy transplants are loving the chilly nights now that they’re in the garden and the potatoes are taking root. So much to do, so little time.

First really sunny day soon the lottie, so 3 beds of brassicas (sprouts, red cabbage & cauliflower) and a couple of rows of celeriac planted out. Not meant folk on the site though.

Little things growing. Slug protecting 'cloches' removed so the wee brassicas can breathe. Oddly slugs go nowhere near parsnips? Sadly the rats will later I'm told!

I have many years of experience with vivid, strange SSRI dreams, but I just remembered one from last night that really threw me for a loop: a long, detailed conversation with someone about my difficulty growing brassicas
