'We really have witnessed a major event in military history... The Russian navy has suffered a significant, strategic defeat of historical proportions'
Ukraine's destruction of Russian drydocks in Sevastopol effectively 'shut down' the Black Sea fleet and forced Russia to move…
Appears that Ukrainian forces have successfully hit the Sevastopol Shipyard drydocks this morning, likely occupied by a Russian Kilo-class sub and Ropucha landing ship.
An accident has occurred during the maintenance period in #CapeTown , resulting in Bark EUROPA partly falling over while attempting to be placed back into the water from the drydocks. All crew members have safely left the ship, one sailor has been injured.
A reminder of just what lengths the RN went to in an effort to get the maximum flight deck length out of the interwar Ark Royal whilst keeping the hull down to a size that would fit in a lot of pre-existing drydocks.
Images have leaked (presumably by shipyard workers) of the Russian Improved Kilo–class attack submarine Rostov na Donu (B-237), hit by a Ukrainian cruise missile strike in the Sevastopol Shipyard drydocks.
#Ukraine : Tonight in Crimea the Sevastopol Shipyard was hit with multiple Ukrainian strikes. At the time two Russian watercraft were undergoing repairs in drydocks- Pr. 775 'Minsk' landing ship and Pr. 636.3 'Rostov na Donu' submarine.
