Matech Concepts was founded in 2006 by Martin Bartek. The Swiss-based company constructed GT1-spec Ford GTs in Germany. Two of these machines appeared on the FIA GT grid in 2009, one run by the Matech factory team, and the other with Marc VDS. (1/3) #GTCatalog
At Le Mans, Nissan was beholden to stricter homologation rules. To qualify, NISMO built a street-legal version, the LM Nismo. It was registered in the UK before the race. 1995's edition featured many Japanese brands, but in GT1, Nissan was the most successful. (3/4) #GTCatalog

The Storm GTS, adapted for the new GT1 category, debuted at the 1995 24 Hours of Le Mans. The Storm passed qualifying and lined up to start the French classic in 24th. A frustrated team retired their unique sportscar after 40 laps. The gearbox failed them. (2/4) #GTCatalog
