Being recognised as an IUIS Rising Star alongside my fellow stars has been a great honour. Sad to leave Cape Town, yet excited to go back to the Uni of Minnesota tomorrow to learn more techniques that I can bring back to my lab in Australia.

I’m in awe of not only her pioneering scientific contributions to myeloid biology but also of her incredible leadership of a whole institute & dept at Sinai and the global org International Union of Immunological Societies. I don’t know how she does it all!

Back to Paris after one week at Cape Town for the International Union of Immunological Societies congress #IUIS2023 . It was an amazing experience :) Thanks so much to the CFCD for the financial support!

After some recuperation, I have been reflecting on what an inspiring time I had at IUIS last week!

Presenting my work to fellow immunologists and attending some incredible talks has sparked numerous ideas which I’m excited to get started on. #IUIS2023 it’s been a pleasure 🤩
