Nipped over to see the Knife Angel by the sculptor Alfie Bradley this afternoon. I wasn’t expecting to be as impressed as I was, but seeing it up close made me realise that photographs do not do this poignant piece of work justice. Well worth a visit if you can.

Today we went to Taunton where we saw 'the knife angel' which is 27ft tall and made from 100,000 knives that were handed in during a knife amnesty. It is also known as the National Monument Against Violence and Aggression.

1/2 Today we took a small group of students to visit the Knife Angel sculpture in the centre of Taunton to discuss knife crime and safety.

We discussed if we had been affected by knife crime, how it made us feel and what you could do if you witness knife violence.
