Owls worked SO well in their teams to create their bug hotels! They listened to each other’s ideas, took on different roles within the team and discussed which joining method would be best for different parts. They even managed to build some lego hotels too! #KS1DT #Collaboration

For their Great Fire of London Topic, #YearTwo have followed their research, design, make and evaluate cycle in #Ks1DT to make a fire engine with a free or moving axle. They succeeded together to share ideas and improved through reflection to strengthen their wheels #ASPIRE

This week in DT we looked at wheels and axles. We learnt how wheels move and investigated a number of wheeled objects. We then made our own wheels and axles which would turn in their axle holder #determination #ks1DT
