Honestly, still can't believe how amazing last months octopus encounter was in Lamlash Bay! Also, can't get over just how tiny it was too! Check out the diver in the background for scale!

Far from my best image of a squid, but it was moving so fast I was surprised to get any shots of it! Diving on Arran really was incredible!

The colours on this wee guy was absolutely amazing! They can be so hard to spot at times, definitely give octopus a run for their money in terms of camouflage!

Every year I have a checklist of marinelife I like to try spot. Last weekends incredible octopus encounter meant I could tick my last one off!

The Isle of Arran one of my favourite places ever 😍whether your a visitor to Scotland or live in Scotland and never been it's a must!! I recommend staying at the Auchrannie resort in Brodick great pubs in Lamlash overlooking the Monk inhabited Holy Loch Tranquility ❤🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

This is at the top of the climb out of Lochranza, very similar to last year's shot, except this time around it's an Arran Single-Malt, Port Cask Finish, lashed to the rack 👍

Scotland's seas are amazing, but after decades of damage they need restored. That's exactly what Arran Coast have achieved at Lamlash Bay, as I got to see earlier this year

Today was the 15th Birthday of Arran’s Lamlash Bay No-take Zone, the first community-led marine reserve of its kind in Scotland. Arran Coast campaigned for 13 years to establish the area & are helping us to study its beautiful carbon sequestering habitats with The Convex Seascape Survey 🩵
