Absolutely thrilled to bits to have accepted my dream NQP role working with children with complex needs in the CDS 💙 alongside clinic. Just my final exam and the rest of my placement to get through. Think it’s finally hit me that I’m going to be a speech and language therapist!

Big Bang NQP Interview ✅
A scary but incredible day, and great to meet other #studentparamedics from outside Wales. Although I was a nervous wreck, all the interviewers put my mind at ease, and great to see support from our lecturers too from Paramedic Science Swansea University! Fingers crossed now

NQP has the potential to be a great learning opportunity for clinicians. Until it is, it’s just a pay suppression mechanism for new staff!
