Dead End Drive-In (1986)

According to the documentary Not Quite Hollywood: The Wild, Untold Story of Ozploitation! (2008), this movie is Quentin Tarantino's favorite Brian Trenchard-Smith flick. Tarantino is fan of Trenchard-Smith's work.

I choose to believe that Tom Burke in FURIOSA wasn't meant to remind us of Max, but a different 1980s Ozploitation road warrior: Stacy Keach in ROAD GAMES - cleft lip scar and all!
