🐞 Our soil is home to millions of critters who work together to make more soil!

🐌 We need healthy, happy soil to grow our food and store carbon from the atmosphere, reducing the effects of climate change.

Love the size of burdock leaves, and it's a medicinal plant too!!!

Natural diuretic:
One of the conventional uses of burdock root is as a diuretic, meaning it helps remove water from the body. This may help people who tend to have water retention, especially during menses.

Still no mow. I'm letting it grow, so I can watch the wildlife thrive.

Life is starting to return. The bluebells, daisies and buttercups have their turn.

The deer sleep and graze in the grass, happy to have protection, unlike the past.

Nature works best when we leave it alone!

We did it. Our chicken run is complete. We just need some chickens now 🤔🐔🥚
We built the frame and then staked chicken wire all around the base (to prevent any digging), this was then covered with soil so we can mow in future. Finished with electric fencing all around.
