April 13th is a day of commemoration of victims of Katyń Massacre in which soviets executed around 22 thousands people - military officers and intelligentsia of the 2nd Polish Republic. Beside Poles among executed were also Jews, Ukrainians, Belarusians, Lithuanians and Tatars.
