The Archaeological Survey of India failed to keep this image in its original form, as it is now eroded and defaced.

~ Archaeological Survey of India DG visits Nalanda during his 2-day Bihar visit ~

Yadubir Singh Rawat ji visited Ajatashatru Quila Maidan excavation site, Maniyar Math, Jivakamravan, Cyclopean walls at Rajgir and was amazed by the findings.

He declared that Rajgir will soon get a Archaeological Survey of India museum. 1/2

Bihar is considered to have played an important role in the development of Jainism & with the city of Pawapuri on of the most holy within the Jain faith.

I did not have time to explore on my recent visit but my Rajgir hotel was Jain run with excellent food.
