'The largest Razorbill colony is in western Iceland; small numbers nest on islands in the Gulf of Maine, Razorbills are sometimes visible from shore, especially in New England.

Today was April's group meet for Aberdeen Women Birders at 📍 RSPB Scotland Fowlsheugh 🌿

We were blessed with gorgeous sunshine and calm winds (makes a change..), and many seabirds returning for the breeding season ☀️

Razorbills, Guillemots, Gannets, and one lonely Puffin 🪶✨

Calling this a seabird city is very apt, what a noise! Thousands of kittiwake, razorbill and guillemot (and one puffin 🙂) in the fog at Fowlsheugh ⁦RSPB Scotland⁩ ⁦Scottish Wildlife Trust⁩

Had a lovely day at the Coast. Saw thousands of seabirds including Ganets, Razorbills and Puffins!! Zoom in and see if you can spot the Puffins 🔍 👀

Skomer Island is home to what must be the most photographed Razorbills in the UK. Fantastic views of these really handsome birds.

A great first week moving up to St Abb's with plenty of opportunity to explore the local area. Fantastic to see so many Kittiwake, Fulmar, Guillemot and Razorbill settling down on the cliffs, ready for the breeding season ahead.

The Razorbills and Guillemots have started laying this week - the seabird season is really getting going now!

Came home to find a Guillemot and a Razorbill in my house last night.

Puns aside, huge thanks to Kildare Wildlife Rescue for taking care of them. If you see any oiled birds on the east Irish coast, call Kildare Wildlife Rescue and don't pick them up - the oil is *nasty*

Razorbill Class are having a lovely Victorian Day. We have done lots of fun activities throughout the day and learnt lots of facts about Victorian life!

Auks off Blackpool are usually miles off and flying so not sure I've ever had photographs of Razorbills before.

The cliff nesting auks are starting to settle down, with the first eggs found today. A Guillemot egg was five days earlier than both the first of last year and the 2013-2023 mean, the first Razorbill eggs three days before the first of last year and one day before the mean.
