Finland is aiming to go carbon neutral in 15 years. They're creating jobs by boosting and saving trees. Its CO2 emissions have already dropped 21% since 1990s levels.

We have the solutions, let's speed it up and implement them.

Today Smith was asked about her blatant lies about AESO asking for the renewables pause...

Her response?

'Ok, look, maybe it wasn't AESO, but this one time I did a tour & asked 5 technicians if the power grid would work better if it was more stable & they all nodded'

Chris Bowen’s renewables dream has just been dealt a massive blow. Well well well. No surprises here from this worst government in Australian history skynews.com.au/insights-and-a…

Revelations that the CSIRO has been cherry-picking data to justify the green transition have put a major dent in Labor’s attempt to convince us that the cheapest electricity comes from wind and solar, writes Nick Cater.

Lights have finally come on for Chris Bowen Australian Labor as the day of reckoning fast approaches. Buffoon Bowen now concedes that his beloved renewables will not keep the lights on & be enough to power up the Aussie manufacturers Labor apparently wants to support. He’s now…

We don’t know how this little one found its way into a parking garage in downtown Halifax, but our staff were able to safely sedate the deer and bring it back to its natural habitat. We love these happy endings!

“Actual lack of reserve”

This is not a good sign for an electricity supply system.

Before renewables, grids generally operated with 15 to 20% of capacity in reserve.

The advent of renewables caused the steady decline of reserve capability.

Call them Ruinables, it fits.

Solar is set to overtake generation capacity of all other power sources by 2027.
In three years, it will overtake gas.
In four years, it will push past coal.
And it's creating jobs as it does it.

We have the solutions. Implement them.

Danielle Smith has been caught in a lie. Again. This one is a whopper. Smith’s reckless and irresponsible renewables moratorium wasn’t requested by the system operator, after all. Instead, Smith was playing politics…at the expense of thousands of jobs and billions in investment.

Science with Boofhead🙄

'renewables can't work 24/7'
(he's yet to discover hydro & wind)

'batteries can't work for more than 2hrs'
(4hr batteries already exist)

'we can have cheaper electricity if we have nuclear'
(the CSIRO already called out your bullshit on that!)

Govt knows CSIRO seriously underestimates methane emissions but refuses to force a switch to satellite data. Why would that be Chris Bowen? Time to stop two faced nonsense. Climate doesn’t turn blind eye because you promote renewables while expanding coal/gas.

FFS this is just propaganda. Scotland is run better than any other part of the UK.
We now know how WM is so desperate to shut off devolution. They will do anything to keep the oil and gas and now even water and renewables.

‘How come we can afford $36 billion a year for new roads but can't spend the same amount on renewables?’

Governments don't want to get asked simple questions like that.

They'd rather you think the Budget is boring.

Executive Director Richard Denniss explains.
