Went in today for an exloratory laparatomy due to intestinal obstruction. Found volvulus with gangrenous colon segment. So happy to have successfully done my first resection and anastomosis😊. Huwezi jua vile naskia😊.
Pt is recuperating well 🙏.

SMA infective pseudoaneurysm (from endocarditis) resection & rGSV replacement, w/ a big ileal branch reimplanted. Not a big work, but appealing.

Intradural tumor I operated yesterday:

A 22 year old gentleman presented to me with right lower limb pain and numbness for 6 weeks.
MRI showed a 2.8x 1.3x 1.7 cm right sided intradural tumor at L4-5 level.
I did a laminectomy and resection of this tumor.

Epidermoid vs dermoid intradural tumor?

Another interesting intradural spine tumor of a 30 year old lady, I did yesterday.
Two intradural tumor cases within a span of 5 days.
I was able to get complete resection
The patient has no neurological deficits post-operatively.
