Last week, members of the King’s Lynn Field Team assisted partners in the RSPB to draw down water from the pits at Snettisham RSPB site due to the islands within the pits being inundated by water.

The islands are an important nesting site for migrating birds.

Grasshopper Warbler Snettisham Coastal park this morning. There seems to be a Warbler explosion this year, so far seen Willow, Garden, Reed, Sedge and Grasshopper. The numbers of Sedgies and Cetis I've seen and heard around North and West Norfolk this past week is insane.
