Ahead of the review to be taken by the Union Home Secretary regarding the land subsidence in village Pernote of Ramban distt, Chief Secretary, Atal Dulloo, took stock of measures taken up, so far, by the administration towards relief and rehabilitation of the affected population.

Divisional Commissioner Jammu @rameshkumarias today visited Pernote Village & met victims of the land subsidence calamity. He reviewed relief & rehabilitation measures taken by District Administration & took stock of damages caused to property, infrastructure & public utilities.

Located in Yingshang County, east China’s Anhui Province, a coal mining subsidence area has been turned into a solar power station. Neatly arranged photovoltaic panels float on the water surface, creating a picturesque landscape.
