Thank you, Porterville Fair, for helping us host over 140 middle school students at the annual TCOE Physics Day!

Students participated in 11 hands-on stations to learn about physics concepts, and used an app to measure acceleration and force on three rides!

Yesterday, La Sierra Military Academy conducted the Change of Command ceremony for its top cadet officers. Cadet Capt. Christopher Castaneda, the cadet commanding officer, passed his duties to Cadet Second Lt. Evelyn Gonzalez-Blow.

Over 250 students from 27 of the county’s AcCEL classes, and Porterville Unified and Burton SD special day classes attended.

TCOE’s Mental Wellness Services (MWS) staff continues to promote mental wellness this month by participating in pop-up events on school campuses. They help promote mental wellness by providing handouts discussing self-care, mindfulness, and connecting students to resources.

Words can’t express how proud I am of these amazing kids! They worked hard to spread a positive message and entered it at the Tulare County Office of Education Slick Rock Film Festival and won! They worked hard! Might even buy them lunch 😂
