昨年シンガポールでやったVinexpoも相当でかいと思ったけど、香港はその5倍くらいの大きさで、ワインの数に圧倒されて、すでに心折れそう。。。
空港着いてホテルに荷物預けて10時半から夜までワイン×２日間という苦行です🤣

Senior Editor Zekun Shuai visited a few Chinese wineries that attended Vinexpo in Hong Kong this week. They included two from Yunnan, Celebre and Shangri-la Winery, as well as Longting Vineyard from Shandong, who continues to make exciting whites like their dry petit manseng.

Tasting Manager Kevin Davy met Christophe Semaska at Vinexpo Asia. His wines are gaining popularity and the selection he presented in Hong Kong was precise, vintage-oriented and refined. The 2018 Cote Rôtie L’Elixir d’Ariane, for example, is a sublime wine with an intense nose.

The White Negroni, pioneered by Wayne Collins at 2001's VinExpo. We use Wardington’s Ludlow Triple Citrus Gin (from Ludlow, obviously), Suze (French bitters and source of its yellowness) plus Dry Vermouth from Bristol's Bramley and Gage. Bracing but light, and slightly sweet.
