An astonishing piece of art. Side 1 contains three of the greatest singles ever (by anyone) but side 2 is the icing on the cake. It’s a journey often taken, fully immersive and beautifully rewarding. A true National Treasure.

The Hurting | Tears For Fears | 1983

An album that resonates more and more with each passing year and it’s the TFF album I return to the most. The singles are superb but album tracks Memories Fade, Start Of The Breakdown and Watch Me Bleed seal the deal.

“Heroes” | David Bowie | 1977

Take side 1 of Low and side 2 of “Heroes” and you have my perfect Bowie album. However the amount of hours I’ve lost listening to side 2 of “Heroes” gives it the edge over Low. One of my favourite sides of music by anyone ever.
