China again reiterates what it's said repeatedly: essentially 'broader over border' and puts ball in India's court.

Will be interesting to see if PRC budges from that or if India budges from its 'border before broader' stance...

I see folks are suddenly discovering the move from 'hub and spoke' to 'latticework.' Been evolving for a while.

(I prefer 'network' 'web' or 'spiderweb' because that's more understandable in more countries & it's a structure that's continuing to be spun.

China also says acc to it, there's been 'positive progress' in border talks.

And reiterates that India should move on from the border devps: 'boundary question does not represent the entirety of China-India relations, and it should be placed appropriately in bilateral relations'

So much regard that 20,000 send their kids to Russia to study vs 270,000 to the US.

And why in years like 2019, there were 2 million Indian departures to US vs 100,000 to Russia.

Rhetorical regard in droves ofc.

Will be interesting to see what the Shanghai Institutes for Int'l Studies delegation's takeaways were from their conversations at India Foundation, Vivekanda Int'l Foundation and IDSA in Delhi (i.e. if they write/speak about them)
