I fear we have created a culture where journalists, whose number one ideal is truth, are scared to report the truth about Gaza, and Israel’s role in its destruction. Too much of the mainstream coverage feels intentionally slanted and ignores what many can see with their own eyes.

Members of the UChicago community who are Muslim, Arab, or wearing any symbols of Palestine solidarity are being stopped by UCPD and Deans on Call & asked for ID. At least a dozen reports so far including of faculty seen at the encampment being followed and harassed. Despicable.
