Going from not having enough fiber for an extended period of time to having a lot of fiber a couple days in a row is a bad idea

This is just post hoc rationalization of obscene wealth. People want to assume that if someone became obscenely wealthy, that they must have done something to *deserve* having that wealth, while others without that wealth just haven't done anything valuable for society.

Justin Amash doesn't know what socialism is. Capitalist companies seek to maximize profit and control of the market as much as they are legally allowed, and often break the law to do even more abusive behavior than is allowed. Government's job is to ensure fair competition.

This seems like a really bad idea, and like Musk hasn't spoken to anyone familiar with social media ranking algorithms and potential concerns about gaming and rewarding bad behavior.

Why people say stuff like this? It's not true that if extremists on all sides hate you, that it means you're being fair and moderate. It could just be that people broadly agree that you suck, because you do. And your inability to see this possibility might contribute to that.

Kanye can say he likes Hitler and other people can say Kanye is a terrible person that should seek mental help. That's the marketplace of ideas. Nazis usually get shunned by most people. Not all. But most.

Both Safari on iOS and Chrome on Android let you add webpages to your home screen and they kind of act like apps of that hostname except it's fully web-based, not a static app package. This works particularly well with single page apps, which Twitter is.

NYC. Seriously, only 8 million people? At some point in the late 20th century American urban policymakers decided that urban development needed to stop and reverse course. And it was devastating.

Does Tim really think the US agencies running bot accounts can't afford a couple thousand dollars? Or that that would be a sizeable chunk of revenue for Twitter? Are those bots verified accounts now? Why would they be? Why not just keep them free and disposable. They're bots.

Advertisers support whatever maximizes their profits. That is all. Their ad appearing next to a bunch of posts by racists using racial slurs may hurt their profits, for example, and they may wish to avoid those situations.

Twitter laid me off today. If you know of any open positions for software engineers, let me know. I was the developer who ensured the mobile app would refresh right when you started reading an interesting tweet.

Today, I announced that health insurers must cover the cost of at-home COVID testing.

For those not covered by private insurance, we will make available free tests at thousands of locations like rural clinics and community health centers for folks to pick up and test at home.
