Y’all! All I had to do was sit there & eat my food (ie write) & earn enough $$ to make my car payment. Dassit. Essentially “kept”. But what did I do? I founded BlackDocVillage & raised my hand to be Director of Adult Medicine at #WestOaklandHealth . And I’m writing a book. 🙄😒

Funny how Medicine ignores how differences in skin color affect care. And by funny I mean racist/White-centering af. (BTW- not just & not all Black ppl have dark skin)
