April 2023: We welcomed CanadianUK Ralph Goodale to The Green Park as he officially reopened Canada Gate following restoration work ahead of the Coronation ๐
The gates were a gift from Canada in the early 20th century as part of a memorial to Queen Victoria.
This tree, and the mood it conveys, carries meaning for me. It was shot shortly after the first lockdown period. Remains a favourite shot. Is situated near Pen Ponds in Richmond Park. Part of The Royal Parks

Did you know there are a few names for a collective group of pelicans, such as a pod, a scoop, a brief and pouch.
My favourite is a Squadron of pelicans.
