In a new working paper, Denis Cohen | @[email protected] Thomas Kurer and I analyze how rental market risk affects electoral behavior. Combining data on rent developments with the SOEP, we find that individuals facing increasing local rents become more likely to support the radical right AfD. Short 🧵
