is yet another satisfying chapter for the saga. Yet the stunts are growing somewhat tiresome - at one point Cruise (as Hunt) visibly mouths “is this anything?” to camera while crashing a jetski into a mausoleum (all practical, quite impressive)

Martin Kaymer aptly conflating decisions LIV players made on their own with decisions that zero Tour players had involvement with.

We are JUST getting started on the posturing, folks. Keep your head on a swivel!

“I’m very discouraged about the fact that the Saudis are Muslim, but I’m a huge fan of the way they abuse migrant workers, torture women, and airstrike Yemeni civilians.” bit.ly/43SJSEY

A lot of golf fans are totally okay with the whole PIF deal because they want homosexuality and women driving to be illegal here too.

I saw a thin red line sticker the other day. Like the one for cops but for firemen. Guys, we are fully okay with the firefighters. If you show up in a fire truck and start setting homeowners on fire, that might change. But for now we good.

This is the point I’ve been making:
LIV the concept - 54-hole shotgun start team golf - was just the Saudis’ means to an end; a way to get a seat at the table.
LIV as a business model was a disaster. But the Saudis now own men’s professional golf. That was the aim all along.

I find the victory laps being gleefully taken by the LIV fans a tad bizarre.
LIV will (presumably) cease to exist. What we’re left with is a PGA Tour backed by essentially a supercharged sponsor with bottomless pockets, the Saudis.
