It’s important to get around the table with partner agencies & test plans. I spent yesterday morning at Lancashire Resilience Forum secondary Strategic Co-ordinating Centre for a COMAH exercise. A test of our individual & collective response plans at both tactical & strategic levels

Darwen Fire Station and Blackburn Fire crews attended a bedroom fire in the early hours this morning.

Thankfully, the occupier was alerted and managed to make his way out of the property without serious injury.

We are aware of a video circulating showing this vehicle in Blackpool using emergency lighting, sirens, and driving out from a Lancashire Fire & Rescue Service station. The driver has been issued a traffic offence report and the equipment removed. The driver had no connection to LFRS #T3RPU
