I’ve been quiet on here recently and took a little break from it all. In that time we had the “pleasure” of an OFSTED inspection which I can safely say, 100%, showed absolutely no signs of change following the so called adaptations to the inspection process. It was disgusting.

Sian Griffiths would appear to have been premature with her 'leak' suggesting the government were on the brink of revisiting single word judgements. 😡

Talk for Teaching.😀 Ofsted Really? But the Secretary of State assured me that parents (other than me of course) consider single word judgements to be a vital part of a robust accountability system. It's almost like admitting they're wrong would make them somehow responsible for the harm they've done...oh.

As I said yesterday, this week will be all about Ofsted (almost like I knew something was going to happen). The DfE/SoS are set to announce their “openness” to exploring new judgment methods beyond single words/phrases. But before we start on that, let’s step back a minute…
