On Christmas Day 2020, a man drove to 2nd Avenue in Nashville, played Petula Clark's 'Downtown' on a loudspeaker, and blew up the historic street. This is what it looks like now.

Today is the 3rd anniversary of one of the most successful corporate stunts. On April 14, 2021 hundreds of corporations took out an ad saying they 'stand for democracy' and against voter suppression.

They got great press and did absolutely nothing to protect the right to vote.

Glad to learn of this prize that supports translations in progress as well as other forms of writing.
