Just realized I booked an Uber to the airport based on my boarding time and not my departure time. I could have slept way longer. Max pain.

I like delta more but American definitely has a better system for same day flight change. No cost to change but you’re on standby. Seems like a win win if they get to make sure more seats are full and you can try for an earlier flight at no more cost.
