B1G congrats to my former “little neighbor girl”😊, who is now “all grown up”! She’s a University of Iowa student & just won a prestigious national award recognizing her as the nation’s best! Congrats, Natalie! I’m so happy for you & so proud! Keep shining!🙌🏻

Fans of Iowa Women's Basketball watch in the coming weeks for a first-class book on Hawkeyes’ season. The book is being produced by The Daily Iowan and its outstanding crew. Besides being a great look back, the book will support the nonprofit DI, which has trained journalists for 150 years. ⤵️
So excited to welcome former-student-slash-current-rockstar Mariah L Wellman, PhD back for a talk. She will present “In Search of Wellness: Exploring the Role of Influencers in the Wellness Industry” to UIowa SJMC UI Communication Studies faculty and graduate students tomorrow at 3:45pm.
Starting tomorrow Brittney J. Miller and I will have a 4-part series on cancer in Iowa.
The podcast coming after Pablo will be fun for basketball fans. I spoke with three staffers at The Daily Iowan —- Kenna Roering, Cooper Worth and Colin Votzmeyer — on what it’s like to cover Caitlin Clark as a student journalist.
Are you going to the Iowa Women's Basketball game today? Students from the School of Journalism and The Daily Iowan are documenting the clash of the giants for the 2024 Women’s Basketball book. 1/3
