Fresh from its No Heritage in My Backyard stance, the YIMBY movement is now adopting a No Offices In My Backyard (NOIMBY?) position of opposing employment accommodation close to housing. It's hard to keep up with the things the YIMBY movement says no to.

How do we fund more community housing? Doubling the size of the Housing Australia Future Fund would be a good start, and requiring a state co-contribution would turbo charge it.

The YIMBY movement adopting what seems to be a generalised No Heritage in My Back Yard (NHIMBY) stance (and with 1950s 'asphalt virtuous circle' undertones), is quite the twist.

This is an interesting study, but at a certain network density, and service frequency (such as Mees' squaresville model) and speed, where every stop is also a potential low wait transfer, the routing, and thus detailed cognitive trip planning, approaches practical irrelevance.
