The City Press is leading with a story that Mkhonto WeSizwe Party has been accused of forging signatures to qualify for the elections. The claim comes from a former senior official Lennox Ntsodo who claims he appointed a team of 20 to assist with mass forgery of signatures.

This is a rare occassion, where I compliment the City of Capetown with regards to anything pertaining homelessness. It's my open letter to the City on a document they issued earlier in the week: STRATEGY TO REDUCE ROUGH SLEEPING

Opinion: this type of setup is much better for BRT than RSA’s current over designed extremely expensive stations that have inefficiency over doors etc. Good news is that, from my understanding, MyCiTi phase 2a seems to be getting more stations/stops that’ll look like this

30 Years since the Apartheid government lost its powers to further oppress Coloured, Black and Indian people in South Africa. 1994 Prevented the NP government from further taking land from black and coloured land owners. 1994 Was a victory for the oppressed ✌🏼🇿🇦

My 2021 piece in the Mail & Guardian on what I believe is South Africa’s revolutionary democracy and the significance of it in my life as an American. On 30 years after the historic first democratic elections, I wouldn’t change a word.

Comment: I’ve been at NPA annual briefing; now listening to Eskom Winter system briefing. Seeing Prasa trains running. Seeing SARS. The reforms from embers of state capture are finally showing. Load-shedding forecast at Stage 2 for Winter and now 30 days without load-shedding.
