.Secretary Antony Blinken underscored that G7 Italy Foreign Ministers are more united than ever in facing critical challenges that lie before the international community, including Russia's aggression against Ukraine, the conflict in the Middle East, and supporting a free and open Indo-Pacific.

This is a critical time for Ukraine. The Ukrainian people have fought incredibly bravely to defend their country, to recapture territory seized by Russia since February 2022, and, at the same time, to work to build a strong country for the future.

During our G7 meeting today, we discussed continued efforts to secure a ceasefire deal in Gaza that includes the release of hostages.

We also made clear we are committed to Israel’s security and condemn Iran’s unprecedented attack.

Important meeting today with Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba in Capri. I reaffirmed the United States’ commitment to supporting Ukraine’s Euro-Atlantic integration goals and its fight against Russia’s aggression.

Looking forward to joining my G7 Italy counterparts this week in Capri. We'll be discussing our support for Ukraine against Russia’s war of aggression, ongoing efforts to address the crisis in the Middle East, and the importance of deepening partnerships around the world.

President Biden spoke by secure video with the leaders of the G7 today. The leaders condemned Iran’s unprecedented attack against Israel and reaffirmed the G7's commitment to Israel's security.
