Linda Noskova is such a great prospect.

Iga Swiatek hit more winners than UFE 34-33) and still lost.

The surprising part was the 3 return errors Iga made when Noskova served for the match in the last game at *0-30. Pretty uncharacteristic (esp the first one off a 2nd serve).

Maybe Davidovich Fokina will feel a little less disappointed now.

Nonetheless, wow, what a win by Nuno Borges.

Dimitrov got very tight in the 4th set and will have some regrets for sure. Loads of chances to send it to a 5th.

Win or lose, this is the best I’ve seen Cameron Norrie play since 2023 Indian Wells.

Welcome back, Cam!

I had a Kalinskaya vs Rybakina R4 in my bracket and we know how competitive Anna has been in that matchup so this was definitely not a surprise to see her in R4. She’s definitely under-ranked right now.

Azarenka has a 3-0 H2H in this matchup. Vika out-aced Ostapenko 16 aces to 2 in their most recent meeting in Brisbane. What adjustments will Penko make today?

Hurkacz vs Humbert should be a contest of razor thin margins. Medvedev vs Felix is a more familiar matchup, but interested to see if Felix can find the self- belief and tactics to trouble Daniil like he did here 2 years ago in their QF encounter.

While its impressive what Mannarino is achieving, some aren’t playing him the right way tactically. They are playing into his strengths by giving him linear power to work with, letting him re-direct. You have to mix up the pace & make Adrian generate his own, esp on the forehand.

In how many of the 4 majors, will Djokovic reach 100 wins before he retires?

Federer was able to get there at both Wimbledon and the Australian Open.

Nadal obviously got there at Roland Garros.

Almost 36 yr old Mannarino has played 3 5 setters in a row & looks fit as a fiddle. Paddling around and awkwardly bunting backhands, causing chaos. Reg beating young prospects ~half his age the last 6 months in big matches: Draper, Shelton, Korda, Michelsen, Marozsan, Stricker.

Andreeva down 5-1 in third. Commentator “she really needs to work on mental side of her game.. she’s too hard on herself when she’s losing”
30 minutes later 7-6 Andreeva wins.
Maybe the reason she turned the match round is because of her mental strength. Maybe she turned the…
