I was in Utrecht last week. It's unimaginable that a motorway once ran through the centre of the city. They removed it & have created a people friendly, accessible, liveable city centre. It was one of the best cities of my Europe trip. Imagine what Glasgow could do Replace The M8

TIL that the 10th Duke of Hamilton is buried in a sarcophagus that he thought belonged to an Egyptian prince; however, the sarcophagus was in fact designed for a woman, and the Duke's legs had to be broken in order to fit. Here is his mausoleum.
