6/6 worst bit was mca became a process rather than an opportunity to explore with this person to understand why it happened and how it might be preventable. Was heartened by the tone and manner of the doctor #mca

5/6 my reflections- reflecting it was a very busy place with no let up - saddened that nurses did not think they could do an mca - and possibly because of busyness no one was stepping back to ask what’s behind the refusal

4/6 nurse goes to follow drs instructions, person refuses then drs ask if they will accept a different treatment- person says yes . Takes 20 mins and when offered refuses. At this point snr nurse decides person should be moved and let someone else manage the mca issue
