We currently operate two seawater desalination plants. 🌊 Our first desalination plant in Kwinana started production in 2006.

More than 1,300 local jobs will be created under a new contract to design, build and operate Perth's next seawater desalination plant.

Work to prepare the site in Alkimos began late last year with construction of the plant and associated network scheduled to start mid-2024.

We’re trialling evaporation covers across 3 dams in Southern WA. ♨️ 💧

The floating covers reduced evaporation by more than 70% in a previous trial. If successful they could save valuable drinking water in regional communities.

Work to increase the capacity of the Ord Irrigation Scheme begins this month. 🙌

The upgrade will increase the available irrigation water supply by 570 million litres a day for the irrigation of a further 5,400ha of farmland. 💧
