The Gender Recognition Reform Bill has passed the Scottish Parliament by 86 to 39.

This is a piece of legislation which will make the lives of trans people - one of the most marginalised minorities in society - a little bit easier.

Bravo to the 86.

BREAKING: Over 80 LGBT and HIV organisations in the UK have pulled out of the government’s international LGBT conference this summer due to trans conversion therapy being excluded from the ban.

Makes the conference essentially pointless. Hugely embarrassing for govt.

Due to the Prime Minister’s broken promise on protecting trans people from the harms of conversion therapy, we regret that we are withdrawing Stonewall’s support for the UK Government’s #SafeToBeMe2022 conference 🧵
