Imagine someone dragging these metal cages through your local park ... regularly .... would you say they were doing damage to all and sunder??? ... before we did not imagine (what happened under the water) ... now we know ...

Least you think small fishing boats can do no harm - dredging for razor clams involved dragging a cage across the sea floor and pumping water into the sand to eject all the life. We are told that 'most dredge
effort is by vessels <12m', i.e. small boats. But this needs to stop

I would like to see an end to *all* trawling and dredging within 6nm of the coast, regardless of boat size. This will give the best chance for marine life recovery.
